TrueBeam HD - Tomorrow's Technology To Beat Cancer Today

  • Tomorrow's Technology

The TrueBeam system is designed to address complex clinical cases such as those in the lung, liver, head and neck, and more.

  • innovation

The TrueBeam™ system brings some of the most revolutionary thinking in cancer care.

  • TrueBeam HD

Imagine A World Without The Fear of Cancer

The Truebeam HD is the most advanced gantry based technology that optimizes both radiotherapy and radiosurgery treatments. TrueBeam HD is an advanced linear accelerator and radiosurgery treatment system capable of delivering fast and precise, noninvasive, image-guided radiosurgery for a variety of cancerous and non-cancerous tumors throughout the body.

What Makes TrueBeam HD Unique?

Accurate and fast tumor treatment

A typical 30 to 60 minute session can be completed in just 3 to 20 minutes, leaving less time for tumor and patient movement during dose delivery. With RapidArc® radiotherapy technology, the revolutionary High-Intensity Mode (which delivers higher doses of radiation) and a high-definition MLC (for greater accuracy and tumor-shaping), treatments are performed with accuracy and speed by a precise surgical X-ray beam.

Numerous Treatment Options

TrueBeam HD is unique in that it can be used for many forms of advanced treatment techniques o Intensity-Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT), also called External Beam Radiation Therapy (EBRT): gives radiation therapists the ability to "sculpt" the edges of a tumor.

  • 3-D Conformal Radiation Therapy - Three-dimensional (3D) conformal radiation therapy is a technique where the beams of radiation used in treatment are shaped to match the tumor.
  • Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT) : is a method of disease management that uses advanced imaging technology to monitor your treatment throughout the entire treatment process.
  • RapidArc® radiotherapy: is an extremely fast and precise form of IMRT.
  • Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT): Stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) is one of the most precise and effective forms of radiation therapy for treating cancer. It combines the principles of 3D target localization (also called stereotaxy) with multiple intersecting radiation beams to precisely treat tumors in difficult or hard-to-reach areas.
  • Patient comfort is enhanced

With shorter treatment times, no need for a stereotactic frame and quiet operation, TrueBeam HD provides a comfortable patient environment. The capacity for constant interaction between the patient and the radiation therapist, along with music during treatment, creates a soothing, patient-centric environment.

    Real-Time Imaging

TrueBeam STx’s enhanced real-time imaging tools allow our radiation oncology team to see the tumor and then visualize it throughout the course of treatment. Since the beam delivery is synchronized with the tumor motion and respiration, complex cases such as those in the lung, upper abdomen and the breast can be treated with less exposure to healthy tissue and radiation is targeted with sub-millimeter accuracy that only TrueBeam HD and Cyberknife M6 can deliver.
